1 Killed, 2 Injured In 3-Vehicle Crash In Clear Creek Canyon
GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4) - A deadly accident forced the closure of Highway 6 in Clear Creek Canyon west of Golden Wednesday afternoon.
Investigators say a Chevy pickup going eastbound crossed into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with an Oldsmobile, causing it to go into the eastbound lane. That car was then hit by a semi. A female passenger in the car died.
The drivers of the car and the semi went to hospitals. The driver of the pickup was not injured.
No names have been released.
