A gunman killed 11, shot more people celebrating the Lunar New Year at the Star Ballroom Dance Studio in Monterey Park on Saturday night.
Most of those killed when a gunman attacked a Los Angeles-area dance studio were in their 60s or 70s.
Police said the suspect is believed to be a worker at one of the businesses where multiple people were shot.
"What a brave man he is," the Los Angeles County sheriff said of Brandon Tsay, who wrestled a gun away from the suspect.
The Los Angeles County Department of Health Services said in a statement one of the four victims taken to a hospital for treatment has died.
With a population of roughly 60,000, Monterey Park is like a small town nestled within the sprawl of Los Angeles County.
Felipe Cabrera Sarabia said during a hearing that he had "always made a living as a cattle rancher."
The suspect went to a second dance studio after the shooting, but someone there managed to disarm him, the Los Angeles County sheriff said.
Four were captured in Ohio following a vehicle pursuit, and the fifth was found in second-hand retail store in Missouri.
The player denied the allegations last week, saying "I have never invaded the personal space of anyone."
A gun Alec Baldwin was using went off, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins during a rehearsal on the set of the Western in 2021.
The couple runs a popular YouTube channel, where videos of their hunts can garner hundreds of thousands of views.
