An alleged Sinaloa cartel boss has been indicted in Chicago on drug, firearm and material support of terrorism charges.
U.S. prosecutors shared what had been one of the central questions after Sinaloa cartel leader Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada fell into U.S. hands in July 2024.
Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada is accused of ordering torture, plotting murders and flooding the U.S. with cocaine, heroin and other illicit drugs.
