A 78-year-old Chicago man was found guilty in the presumed death of his 8-month-old daughter, who was last seen more than 40 years ago in Metro Detroit.
An extension cord was spotted on the roof. Upon further inspection, they found a woman living inside the supermarket's sign on top of Central Michigan's Family Fare supermarket 130 miles north of Detroit.
Weather officials say the tornado reached an estimated peak wind of 135 mph and touched down near the intersection of S. 10th Street and W. R Avenue. It traveled for about 11 miles, damaging home roofs and sidings.
