Recession – it’s a word we hear a lot lately. CBS 2's Chris Tye reports on some concerns, and some cautious optimism on one front.
In the suburbs, the average price is $5.34 a gallon, down 54 cents since June.

Experts say gas prices could lead to demand destruction when drivers change their habits to save money.
We found premium gas in Chicago going for $7.29 a gallon on Thursday. That is a figure higher than the federal hourly minimum wage in a dozen states. CBS 2's Marissa Perlman reports.
GasBuddy said demand usually starts to fall in August, which could help the cost of gas to drop.
According to AAA, the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline is $5.12 as of Tuesday morning.
For the third time, businessman and mayoral candidate Willie Wilson is giving drivers the chance to get free gas at more than a dozen locations.
"At its core, we're taking resources and putting them towards working class people, and to that extent, I find it hard to be against that," Ald. Michael Rodriguez (22nd) said.
Wilson, who has announced he is running for mayor for a third time, plans to give away $1 million in free gas on Saturday, but has yet to say where.
