The cold front will increase winds off the lake, producing dangerous swimming conditions through Monday afternoon. Waves of 4 to 6 feet are possible behind the front.
The statement is in effect until 4 p.m. Monday, with 4 to 6 feet expected.
Later in the day, after the sun sets, rain showers and storms will roll through the area as a frontal boundary passes.
The best chance for showers and thunderstorms develops late Saturday night into Sunday.
A stray afternoon storm or two is possible for Friday and Saturday.
