White Sox Place Dylan Cease On Injured List; He Has Not Tested Positive For COVID-19, But Is Showing Symptoms
CHICAGO (CBS) -- The White Sox have put starting pitcher Dylan Cease on the 10-day injured list.
The announcement came before the White Sox' game against the Cleveland Indians Wednesday night.
Right-hander Zack Burdi was recalled from the Schaumburg training facility to fill in.
White Sox general Manager Rick Hahn said Cease was placed on the injured list precautionary - as Cease hasn't tested positive for COVID-19, but does have some symptoms.
