Video: Minor League Umpire Ejects Daytona Cubs Organist
(WSCR) Admittedly, Minor League Baseball games can be boring and tend to drag.
That was anything but the case for the Daytona Cubs' win over the Fort Myers Miracle last night. After a questionable call at first base, the organist played a non-lyrical version of "Three Blind Mice."
After a few seconds, the home plate umpire ejected the organist - who happened to be an an intern named Derek Dye - and demanded that no more music be played for the rest of the game.
Check out the video below and visit CBS Philly to hear an interview with Dye.
