Strongarm Robber Attacks Woman In Lincoln Park
(CBS) – A 39-year-old woman was transported to the hospital Thursday after a brazen attack in a Lincoln Park alley.
It happened in broad daylight along the busy block of 1900 North Sheffield Avenue, CBS 2's Suzanne Le Mignot reports.
Police say the victim observed a young man smashing the window to her car when she confronted him. The suspect took her handbag forcefully from her and pushed her to the ground.
Police say a man in his late teens ran from this scene on foot. The young man was wearing a dark green jacket and stone washed black jeans.
