Person Shot, Seriously Wounded On I-57
MARKHAM, Ill. (CBS) -- One person was shot and seriously wounded Sunday afternoon on Interstate 57 near 159th Street.
At 3:21 p.m., Illinois State Police were called after one person was shot on the expressway. The victim was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
At 4:49 p.m., all northbound lanes of I-57 were shut down at 167th Street. All lanes reopened at 8:43 p.m.
