Family Escapes Fire After Lightning Strikes Gurnee Townhome
CHICAGO (CBS)-- A lightning strike in the northern suburbs caused a family to flee from their home.
The lightning strike set the attic of a Gurnee townhouse on fire.
Officials said a neighbor saw the lightning strike and warned the family inside. The parents, two kids and a dog were able to escape the house safely.
