Chicago State University students planting trees along Bishop Ford Freeway
Local university students are planting trees along the Bishop Ford Freeway in celebration of Arbor Day.
Chicago State University is partnering with the Morton Arboretum to plant 20 trees along the Bishop Ford Freeway.
The students were assisted by experts from the arboretum.
The plan is for the trees to serve as a natural barrier between Chicago State's campus and the freeway.
