Body Of Woman Found At Washington/Wells L Station Platform
(CBS) -- A 21-year-old woman was found dead on a CTA platform in the Loop Saturday morning, reports WBBM's Mariam Sobh.
Around 7 a.m., police received a call from CTA staffers about a body on the platform at the Washington/Wells L Station.
When they arrived, they found an African-American woman and police say her body showed signs of possible trauma. Police say she was not hit by a train.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and a death investigation is underway.
