72-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck By Car While Riding A Bike In North Lawndale
CHICAGO (CBS)-- A man was fatally struck by a car while riding a bike in the North Lawndale neighborhood Monday morning.
According to police, the 72-year-old man was riding his bike in the 1500 block of South Central Park Avenue, around 2:20 a.m., when a white sedan struck him.
The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police are talking to a person of interest after a vehicle with front-end damage was stopped by police.
