CHICAGO (CBS) -- Three people were injured Tuesday night in a shooting in Englewood.

The shooting happened at 66th and Halsted streets around 9:30 p.m.

Police said three men were standing on the sidewalk when shots were fired from a white van.

Police said a 51-year-old was shot in the head and rushed to Mt. Sinai Hospital in critical condition.

A 65-year-old man was shot in the ankle and arm. He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition. Another man, 61 years old, was taken to the same hospital in fair condition with a gunshot wound to the shoulder.

On Wednesday evening, a night after the shooting, a vigil was held for peace in the area. Two of the three men who were shot were in attendance.

"I feel like everybody has a job to do, but they're not doing it. Of course, we're going to continue to see this here," said shooting victim David Evans. "We're going to continue to see, until it touch home; until it hit home; until they get children of their own; until it hits your child – then you're not concerned."
