A cold front is slow to depart as it's attached to a vertically stacked low that is slowly meandering to the north. This will keep mostly cloudy skies intact this morning followed by a few diurnal showers this afternoon.
A cold front will slowly pass from west to east between 11am-8pm. The front will induce showers/few storms from late this morning (around 10am) through this evening. The front's slow motion will allow for lingering showers to affect southeastern Mass. early tonight as well. Highs will range between the upper 50s and lower 60s...winds shift from south to west around 6-12 mph.
Most of us will squeeze out another dry day today with a slight chance of a few showers well north and west of Boston. As high pressure continues to lose control, a frontal boundary will begin to affect the region by Wednesday.

The stationary front has now tracked to our north which positions us within the 'warm sector'. A warm southerly breeze will warm most backyards today. Highs for the most part will be in the middle 70s. However, the S.Coast/Cape/Islands will only reach highs in the upper 50s to middle 60s due to the onshore flow.

It's going to be another beautiful day, but once again, there will be a chill to the air. Morning lows in the 20s and 30s will eventually climb into the middle 50s for areas away from the coast. A seabreeze will kick-in this afternoon keeping temps in the upper 40s to near 50F near the coast.
It has been a gloomy stretch lately and this Easter Weekend may not be a whole lot better.
High pressure is taking over! Sunshine returns today after the morning fog lifts between 8-9am. We will have afternoon clouds building as 500mb energy sweeps across the area. Also, we cann expect gusty WNW winds today reaching 40+mph at times. Highs will be in the middle 50s.
Mainly cloudy today with scattered showers this morning and possibly showers and rumbles of thunder late in the day due to the passage of a cold front. Depending on the speed and northern movement of the warm front, we may see some breaks of sun across southeastern Mass. midday.

There's a possibility that we may hear a few rumbles of thunder this afternoon/evening as cool air aloft (500mb) passes the area. Highs will hover in the lower to middle 40s. However, I think some areas along the Cape/Islands may reach the upper 40s and lower 50s due to a shift in wind direction.
Clouds and spot showers will carry us through the morning. Then, we can expect a cloud/sun mix for the afternoon. With strong southwest winds, highs will range from75-80F northwest of the city to as cool as the upper 50s and lower 60s for the South Coast/Cape/Islands.
We never had a winter thaw and really haven't been able to put together a string of unseasonably warm days this spring yet either. Until now.
Besides morning clouds along the South Coast/Cape/Islands, we will enjoy plenty of sunshine today with highs in the lower 50s. It will be cooler along the coast as a seabreeze develops this afternoon.
Besides a fly or two in the ointment, we will enjoy a pretty quiet second half to the workweek. There will be a shortwave passing by this evening and early tonight, which may produce a brief shower this evening or a snowflake overnight.
A cold front will spawn showers and rumbles of thunder from mid-to-late morning through the early evening hours. We are expecting a .25-.50" of rain in general.
A cloudy and dreary morning will give way for showers throughout the afternoon. The culprit is a warm front that will slowly move northward today. Winds will be gusty from the east-southeast. Highs will range from the upper 40s to the lower 50s.
