It Happens Here: Keeping Memories Of Whalom Park Alive In Lunenburg

LUNENBURG (CBS) – It Happens Here: in Lunenburg. This tiny town originally included Fitchburg, and was once known as Turkey Hill. But it's best known for the spot where generations of families had a "Whale of a Time."

Whalom Park opened in 1893 and entertained New Englanders for more than 100 years. It's since been replaced by a condo development, but there is a group who makes it their mission to keep those amusement park memories alive.
