Wakefield Police Arrest Cross-Dressing Bank Robber
WAKEFIELD (CBS) – Police say a man who dressed as a woman to rob banks in Wakefield last year has been captured.
28-year-old Patrick O'Connell of Arlington was arrested on Tuesday in Bedford after police received a tip.
They say O'Connell robbed two banks in Wakefield in February 2010 and in each case he wore a large headscarf and sunglasses.
He will be arraigned in Malden District Court Wednesday.
