Varitek Out with Broken Foot
[photogallerylink id=30474 align=right]Red Sox Catcher Jason Varitek suffered a broken foot Wednesday night in the team's loss to the Tampa Bay Rays. WBZ-TV's Dan Roche confirms the injury that has Varitek on the DL. He could miss up to 6 weeks. Varitek is hitting .263, 7 HR, 16 RBI. Dan Roche will fill in for Andy Gresh today along side Scott Zolak on 98.5 The Sports Hub from 10am-2pm.
The Red Sox now have 10 players on the disabled list. They open up a 3 game series with the Orioles tonight at Fenway Park.
