Tough times for Mel Gibson
Mel Gibson's bad day just got worse. First, a celebrity news website released a recording it says is Gibson engaging in a racist, sexist rant. Now, his agent has cut him loose.
The Hollywood Reporter and Deadline.com report talent agency William Morris Endeavor has dropped the actor-director.
The two-minute recording posted by RadarOnline.com is of a man's voice that sounds distinctly like the Academy Award-winner. He's heard telling his then-girlfriend she looks like a "whore," dresses too provocatively and that it would be her fault if she were raped. He uses the N-word at one point, and the recording is laced with his profanity.
The site says the girlfriend made the recording. The former couple is engaged in a bitter custody dispute. She has accused Gibson of physical abuse.
