Toucher & Rich: Dave Goucher: Bruins Fall To The Lightning

The Boston Bruins lost at home 5-2 to the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Toucher & Rich spoke with 98.5 The Sports Hub Bruins play-by-play announcer Dave Goucher about the Game 1 loss, Tyler Seguin's performance and this team without Patrice Bergeron.

The rookie Tyler Seguin scored in his first playoff game of his career on Saturday and fans are going Seguin crazy. Will Claude put Seguin on the power play if Bergeron remains out of the lineup?

"It might not hurt, because that power play the other night was frustrating to watch," Goucher said. "They had a couple good segments where they set it up… but they just didn't really get much of a sniff."

Goucher also said he does not think there is much of a chance that Bergeron plays in Game 2 on Tuesday night, and could be kept out of Games 3 and 4 in Tampa if need be.

The guys also talked about Brad Marchand's performance against the Lightning. Since Bergeron was out were the Lightning paying more attention to Marchand?

"He's a known commodity now," said Goucher. "To a degree, teams are paying more attention to him now, and with Bergeron out of the lineup they can afford to do that."

When Bergeron returns would Claude Julien keep Seguin in the lineup and if so who would sit out?

They also talked about Tomas Kaberle giving up the puck behind his own net which led to a goal.
