Police say 19-year-old Joseph Kapp, of Gardner, was drunk when he lost control of the car and crashed into several trees on Hollis Road.

Austin Robbins, 18, of Lunenburg, was killed in the crash. A second passenger, Sean McNiff, 19, of Lunenburg, was taken to a nearby hospital.

Police say Kapp was not injured in the crash. He was arrested and faces multiple drunken driving charges and one charge of motor vehicle homicide.

A small vigil was held for Robbins at the crash site Saturday evening.
