After coming off an impressive road sweep of the team with the best record in baseball The Red Sox come home and lose to the Royals 4-3 snapping their five game winning streak. Daisuke Matsuzaka had a shaky performance allowing a season high eight walks in four plus innings. Red Sox will send Tim Wakefield to the Mound Friday night in game 2 of this 4 game set.
