SHARON (CBS) -- One person was killed in a single-car crash on I-95 early Sunday morning.

State Police said Derice Fealy, 41, of Providence, Rhode Island, was killed in the crash around 1:45 a.m. Sunday in Sharon.

They said Fealy was driving on I-95 North just north of Exit 9.

Police said they weren't sure what caused Fealy's 2011 Hyundai to leave the right shoulder of the highway and fly off into a wooded area.

The right lane was closed while State Police investigated, but the scene was cleared around 5:30 a.m.

The crash is still being investigated.
