Revs fall on the road to Colorado

Conor Casey tied the Colorado franchise record with his 39th goal and the Rapids ran their home unbeaten streak to nine, beating the New England Revolution 3-0 on Saturday night.
Casey has 10 goals this season for the Rapids, 10-7-7 overall and 6-0-3 at home since a 1-0 loss to Los Angeles on May 5.
"It is nice to reach milestone like that," Casey said. "Nice to reach it in only my fourth year with the franchise."
Omar Cummings also scored his 10th goal, giving him five goals in his last four games.
"I'm in a comfort zone right now," Cummings said. "It's even better be in it at this time of the season."
Wells Thompson added his first goal of the season, and Matt Pickens posted his seventh shutout and dealt the Revolution (7-14-3) their 10th shutout of the year.
New England is an MLS-worst 1-10-1 on the road this year and 0-6-3 in its last nine games in Colorado.
"It isn't rocket science to figure out what happened," New England coach Steve Nicol said. "We made too many mistakes - basic stuff that gave them goals."
