BOSTON (CBS) – Former Red Sox closer Andrew Bailey has agreed to terms with the New York Yankees on a minor league deal, according to ESPN's Buster Olney.
Olney tweeted late Saturday night that the deal is "stacked with incentives."
Bailey played in just 30 games with the Red Sox in 2013. His season was cut short in July when he had surgery on his right shoulder.
He missed almost all of the 2012 season after having right thumb surgery during spring training.
Bailey had just 14 saves in his two seasons in Boston.
