Red Sox Place Lackey On DL, Call Up Alex Wilson
BOSTON (CBS) -The Boston Red Sox have placed right hander John Lackey on the 15-day disabled list with a right biceps strain.
The move, retroactive to April 7, comes after the starter was injured in his season debut Saturday in Toronto. Lackey was looking good against the Blue Jays, but had to leave in the middle of the fifth inning.

To fill Lackey's spot on the roster, Boston recalled right-hander Alex Wilson from Pawtucket. In five minor league seasons, Wilson is a combined 22-14 with a 3.81 ERA in 107 games (68 of which were starts).
