Person Struck By Train In Lynn
LYNN (CBS) - Commuter rail service between Lynn and Salem stations was diverted this afternoon after a person was struck on the tracks in Lynn.
The person struck was taken by helicopter to a Boston-area hospital, but their medical condition is not known at this time.
The stretch of the Newburyport/Rockport commuter rail was closed for about one hour as transit police investigated.
