Patriots Place Mayo, Ridley On Injured Reserve
BOSTON (CBS) – The New England Patriots have placed LB Jerod Mayo and RB Stevan Ridley on injured reserve. Mayo and Ridley both suffered injuries in the win at Buffalo on Sunday.
Mayo suffered his injury in the second quarter of Sunday's game. He led the Patriots defense with 53 tackles on the season, and was the quarterback of the unit.
Ridley was New England's top rusher with 340 yards in six games, running for two touchdowns and was averaging 3.6 yards per carry. He was injured in the third quarter on Sunday.
The Patriots have signed OL Chris Barker and running back Jonas Gray from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.
