Patriots Injury Report: Talib, Dennard, Spikes Questionable; Hoomanawanui Out vs. Broncos

BOSTON (CBS) - The majority of the New England secondary is questionable for Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos.

Corners Aqib Talib, Kyle Arrington and Alfonzo Dennard, and safety Steve Gregory were all listed as questionable after limited participation in Friday's practice. Dennard and Gregory both missed Monday night's loss to Carolina, while Talib left the game early with a lingering hip injury.

But the only Patriot ruled out for Sunday's game is tight end Michael Hoomanawanui, who did not practice all week with a leg injury.

Linebacker Brandon Spikes, who some feared may have to sit out Sunday's tilt with a knee injury, is one of six Patriots listed as "probable."

For the Broncos, corner Champ Bailey (foot) and tight end Julius Thomas (knee) are both questionable.

Wide receiver Wes Welker, who suffered a concussion last Sunday, is one of nine Broncos listed as "probable" for Sunday's game. Head coach Jack Del Rio sounded very confident on Friday that Welker will be able to suit up for his return to New England.
