Faulk Undecided On Retirement

BOSTON (CBS) - Kevin Faulk was not on the active roster for Sunday's Super Bowl, leading many to speculate that the longtime Patriots running back is on his way to retirement.

Faulk, however, said on Twitter on Tuesday that he hasn't yet made that decision.

"Been seeing the question thrown around if I'm retiring," Faulk wrote on his account, @feezy_k. "As [of] right now, can't say yes and can't say no."

Faulk, who will turn 36 in June, has played in just nine games over the past two seasons, carrying the ball 25 times for 102 yards and making 13 receptions for 96 yards.

In his 13 seasons, all with the Patriots, he's rushed for 3,607 yards and 16 touchdowns and caught 431 passes for 3,701 yards and 15 touchdowns. He also has two punt returns for touchdowns. A three-time Super Bowl champion and future member of The Hall at Patriots Place, he's fifth on the Patriots' all-time rushing list and 11th on the team's all-time receiving list.
