Brady Not Talking Cromartie

FOXBORO (CBS) - New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is already dodging the New York Jets.

During his weekly media availability, Brady would not take the bait on a couple of questions from a New York reporter. When asked about the disparaging, and personal, remarks Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie made of Brady last season, #12 brushed it off.

"I don't care what he says about me. I really don't," said Brady, who went on to praise Cromartie as an "excellent player."

Before the Jets playoff victory at Gillette in January, Cromartie called Brady a word we can't put in print, and closed by saying "I hate him."

As he did on Wednesday, Brady took the high road and wouldn't comment on Cromartie.

"I've been called worse," Brady said.

When asked about the Jets "trash talking" on Wednesday, head coach Bill Belichick said his team focuses on what needs to be done on Sundays.

"We talk about what we need to do to beat the Jets on Sunday, that's what we talk about," said Belichick.

"We try to focus on what we need to do to beat the Jets. That's what we're here for," he continued. "I mean, what else is there to talk about?"
