NightSide - What's The Difference Between A Democrat And A Socialist?

BOSTON (CBS) - MSNBC talk show host Chris Matthews posed that question to Hillary Clinton yesterday, and she was unable or unwilling to answer it. The exchange was very similar to one that Matthews had with the chair of the Democratic National Committee Debbie Wasserman Schultz back in July. Wasserman Schultz also seemed unable to answer the simple question, even in terms of comparing Clinton to Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders. Has the Democratic Party moved so far left that it now represents full-fledged socialism? Is there a difference between a Democrat and a socialist? Does the term socialist still carry the same stigma it has in past decades? Why wouldn't either of these two high-profile Democrats answer the question?
