NightSide - Rattlesnake Island
BOSTON (CBS) - A plan to turn an uninhabited island in the Quabbin Reservoir into a private home for an endangered species of rattlesnakes has some folks crawling in their skin. Though officials at the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife have said the snakes will only attack when threatened, and that any snakes that make it off the island will die during the following winter (they can swim), not everyone is on board with the plan. What do you think? Is it worth the risk to keep the species alive?
