NightSide - Is Encouraging Suicide Murder?
BOSTON (CBS) - A woman is on trial for sending her boyfriend texts messages that were encouraging him to kill himself. The text messages were sent years ago when they were both teenagers. The prosecutor has argued that she pressured her boyfriend for weeks with to end his life with "emotional manipulation" of a vulnerable teenager who struggled with depression and had previously attempted suicide. Do you believe coercing suicide is murder? Are those texts protected speech? Is this just a mistake made by a teenager?
