1 Skier Killed, Another Injured After Crash At NH Mountain
FRANCONIA, N.H. (CBS) - Police are investigating the death of a skier at Cannon Mountain Ski Resort.
Cannon Mountain says they responded to a report of a two-skier collision on an open trail at about 2:45 PM Friday.
"The accident resulted in one fatality, with the other skier being transported off property at approximately 3:20 PM with several injuries," Cannon said in a statement.
Several people witnessed the accident. It is currently under investigation by Cannon Mountain Ski Area, Franconia Police, and the New Hampshire State Police.
