CANDIA, N.H. (CBS) -- Relatives of Mara Pappalardo gathered at Candia District Court for the murder arraignment of Mara's husband, Christopher Smeltzer. Smeltzer is charged with second degree murder. Prosecutors say Pappalardo was beaten and strangled. On Monday, police found the bodies of Mara Pappalardo and the couple's four year old son, Mason, in the family's rented home in Auburn, New Hampshire.
