Mobile Clothing Store Runs Into Potholes In Boston

BOSTON (CBS) - The city's first rolling clothing store is running into permitting problems in Boston.

Green Street Vault was started by a couple of Emerson College students selling tees, caps and sneakers.

Derrick Cheung is one of the founders and says he's been welcomed by many brick and mortar businesses and by his customers.

But Cheung says city inspectors have fined the business, even though he has a state permit.

He says so far all of the fines have been dismissed at hearings.

Cheung says the problem is that the truck doesn't sell food, so new regulations will have to be developed for the Green Street Vault.

WBZ was unable to reach a city spokesperson for comment.
