"Obviously we're thrilled that he was found OK, alive and unharmed. There's still a lot of questions that need to be answered, but we're just trying to be happy and the fact that he's OK," said Bard.

Bard said his friend disappeared on his own accord, which he says was a "shock" to anyone that knows him.

"Hopefully some more questions will be answered soon," said Bard.

Bard has a 3.51 ERA in 25 games this season.
