MBTA Launches New Website For Winter Weather Delays

BOSTON (CBS) - The MBTA is hoping to have a better winter this time around without leaving customers out in the cold.

Last winter, the T struggled during snowstorms, with trains running late and customers confused.

Now, the T has a plan to fix at least one of those problems. The T is launching a new website: MBTA.com/winter.

That new site will be just for updates on the system during winter weather.

The T promises it will operate normally even during a moderate snowstorm, but it hopes the website will better update customers when things get bad.
