Coronavirus Positive Tests In Massachusetts Reach 256 After 38 New Cases

BOSTON (CBS) – Coronavirus cases in Massachusetts rose to 256 as of Wednesday. That number marks an increase of 38 from the previous day.

Of the coronavirus cases in Massachusetts, 97 are related to the Biogen employee conference, 38 are through local transmission, 26 are travel related, and 95 remain under investigation.

The highest number of cases by county in Massachusetts come in Middlesex County, where 100 people tested positive.

On Tuesday, there were 218 cases in Massachusetts.
