Man Driving Past Police Station Busted On Drug Charge
MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — A New Hampshire police officer didn't have to travel farther than the Manchester police station parking lot to make a drug arrest.
Manchester police said officer Derek Cataldo was pulling out of the parking lot at police headquarters when he saw a man drive by on Hayward Street holding a book up to his chin in one hand and a straw in the other.
When Cataldo pulled over 24-year-old Stephen Bolser of Manchester, he noticed Bolser had white powder on his shirt and a ring of white powder around one nostril.
The officer also found three pills in Bolser's pocket. They were tentatively identified as Adderal — a prescription stimulant.
Bolser was charged with possession of a controlled substance. It could not immediately be determined whether he had a lawyer.
