Man Arrested On Murder Charge In 2014 Boston Stabbing
BOSTON (CBS/AP) — Boston police and prosecutors say a suspect has been arrested in the stabbing death of a 29-year-old man last year.
Authorities said 33-year-old Dominic Shiner of Malden was arrested Sunday on a warrant charging him with first-degree murder. Shiner is to be arraigned Monday in Suffolk Superior Court.
Sean Dwyer was found stabbed in the chest outside his barbershop on Adams Street in the Dorchester neighborhood at about 6:21 p.m. the evening of Dec. 12. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Dwyer's mother, Cheryl Conley told WBZ-TV her son dreamed of having his own barber shop.
"He was just coming into his own, and then this happens," she said.
"I cry every day. I wake up thinking about him, I go to bed thinking about him," she said. "My heart is just broken every day."
Shiner was indicted Friday by a grand jury.
It is not clear if he has an attorney to speak for him.
