JetBlue Flight Rerouted To Boston Due To Smoke Smell
BOSTON (CBS) -- A JetBlue plane heading to Richmond, Virginia from Boston had to be rerouted back to Logan Airport following a report of a smoke odor in the cabin.
A JetBlue spokesperson says Flight 1281 returned shortly after it departed around 5:48 p.m. on Friday.
The plane landed safely.
It taxied back to the gate on its own.
The plane is being inspected.
Passengers will continue on to Richmond in another plane.
