Internet Cat Video Festival Draws Feline Fanatics
BOSTON (CBS) --Looking for a gathering to don your Halloween "cat-stume"? The Internet Cat Video Festival may be the purr-fect spot.
The 2nd annual festival -- which not so coincidentally falls on National Cat Day -- will be held at Berklee Performance Center Thursday night. Feline fanatics will gather to socialize and watch chat-inspired clips -- everything from six-second Vine videos to short films.
Will Braden, director of the adorned Henri le Chat Noir who has previously won the festival's first Golden Kitty (People's Choice) Award, will showcase a never before seen video. Film critic Roger Ebert hailed Braden's previous work, "Henri 2: Paw De Deux," "the best Internet cat video ever made," according to Berklee's event website.
But Henri may not be the only cat returning to this year's festival.
The event, which begins at 7:30p.m., encourages family-friendly cat costumes and a nap prior to arrival.
