Foxboro Boy With Brain Tumor Receives 100,000 Additional Birthday Cards
FOXBORO (CBS) – After receiving 50,000 birthday cards this week, Danny Nickerson received many more on Friday.
Nickerson, who has a rare inoperable brain tumor, asked for cards for his sixth birthday received 100,000 additional cards on Friday. Nickerson turned 6 on Friday. In total, Nickerson has received approximately 150,000 cards.
Nickerson has received cards from around the world including U.S. Marines in Afghanistan and from civilians in Aruba.
