Former Chelsea Housing Director Will Plead Guilty To Falsely Reporting Salary
BOSTON (CBS) – The former director of the Chelsea Housing Authority will plead guilty to charges that he falsely reported his salary.
Investigators alleged that in 2011, 67-year-old Michael McLaughlin reported that his annual salary was $160,000 when he knew his actual salary was at least $283,000.

He resigned from the position in 2011.
McLauglin faces a maximum of 20 years in prison and a fine of $250,000.
As part of McLaughlin's guilty plea, he must agree to testify at any future trials or before any grand jury. If McLaughlin assists in the prosecution of another person, a lower sentence will be recommended.
