Felger & Mazz: Criticism In The Clubhouse

Felger and Massarotti kicked off the week discussing the Boston Red Sox and comments made by manager Bobby Valentine.

On Sunday night, Valentine said he didn't think third baseman Kevin Youkilis was "as physically or emotionally into the game as he has been in the past for some reason."

Were Bobby V's comments about Youk out of line? Are they being blown out of proportion?

Second baseman Dustin Pedroia talked about Valentine's comments before the Sox' 1-0 loss to the Rays Monday morning, and said, "it's really not the way we go about our stuff around here. I'm sure [Valentine] will figure that out soon."

With those comments, do the players view Valentine as an outsider?
