Driver Killed In Crash On Route 1 In Peabody
PEABODY (CBS) - A young driver was killed when he lost control of his SUV early Tuesday morning.
It happened on Route 1 southbound, south of the jug handle, around 12:45 a.m.
State police say 18-year-old Ryan Gillespie of Peabody was ejected when his 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer rolled over.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say he was not wearing a seat belt. It's still not clear what caused the crash.
