Dog Rescued After Falling Off Cliff At Monument Mountain In Great Barrington
GREAT BARRINGTON (CBS) – A dog was rescued in Great Barrington after falling from a cliff on Monument Mountain.
The dog, named Luna, fell near the summit to an outcropping about 10 feet below.
A team hiked the mountain with special equipment and found the dog clinging to a rock and lifted her to safety.
Luna was not injured, but rescuers say it should be a reminder that the hike is not safe for pets.
